We are looking for PERFORMERS who speak
Eastern, Western or Southern Asian languages.
Looking for bilingual/multi-lingual performers due to our filming project supported by Toshima-ku.
Rehearsal and shooting will be held from November 2020 to February 2021 in Toshima-ku.

How; Having devising process and filming
Performance fee; 20,000yen per person
The film will be edited and uploaded on Youtube.
We have to ask you to perform without a mask when we shoot a film.
Throughout the project, we'll follow Japan Performing Arts Solidarity Network’s guideline for Covid-19.
about Multilingual Theatre Tokyo (マルチリンガル演劇実行委員会）
Multilingual Theatre Tokyo is an executive committee which produces multilingual theatre productions and holds multilingual theatre workshops. To encourage cultural diversity in Tokyo, this organizations was founded by Sayaka Ito and leaders of community invigoration groups, such as Minami-Otuska Network; 南大塚ネットワーク.
From an artistic director of a youth theatre to a city council member, a variety of 11 people are involved, and also supervised by Paris-based international theatre collaborative Instant MIX theatre lab.
Now Multilingual Theatre Tokyo is making shows which are devised by performers with a variety of cultural backgrounds. There are bi-multilingual casts, mixing actors from different regions in the world, who perform in their mother-tongue, and/or in a second language. In corporation with Instant MIX theatre lab, we are trying to gain expertise in how to create innovative theater through organizing the real encounter between two and more languages, cultures, approaches to art, and ultimately to be "human".
