{ABOUT THE SHOW}
A reading & music theatre inspired by timeless Japanese folktales, Kin-taro, Momo-taro, and Kachi-kachi-yama — stories many in Japan grow up with.
Now, four big girls navigating life in the Reiwa era return to those tales,
not to escape, but to reimagine them.
In the serene, small grounds of a neighborhood temple,
they speak, sing, and move through the fables that once fired their childhood imaginations.
For children, it’s playful and whimsical.
For adults, it’s a deeper journey — one that stirs something long forgotten.
Step into the borderless, fantastical world of “Mukashi Mukashi no Ohanashi”,
and take a quiet moment to reconnect with a piece of Japan that lives inside you.
